I look forward to receiving our guitars from Kevin every year because after examining the cleanliness and amazing details of his workmanship , marveling at the gorgeous materials he has selected, and hear that first hint of that woody tone his guitars sing with (all of which are consistent in every Aram guitar) I  then get to explore and delve into the guitar to find what its individual character is.

This 2009 model has a hint of aggression and bite in the tone which gives it super wide dynamic range. Scarlatti Sonatas take on a bit more edge while still retaining full tone and excellent separation while modern pieces and pieces that call for a heavy attack and fortissimo sections can be fully realized without sacrificing rich sonic texture. Rodgers tuners, Brazilian rosewood, and brilliant white spruce are all hallmarks of Kevin's guitars but they are no less awe inspiring in "Rumba."
