Over the last few years I have seen an extraordinary shift in the quality of tone coming out of the Fleta workshop. Seven or eight years ago I would say that there were some really amazing Fleta Hijos that exceeded expectation (see our 1982 Fleta e Hijos!) out there but the majority, while great guitars, were clearly a step below that of Ignacio's guitars. But no longer! This 2006 is an exceptional guitar and in every way a fantastic Fleta. It has the depth in tone, great volume, and it is wonderful to play. The only thing missing that keeps the Fleta Sr.'s a little bit higher is age and playing time, which does wonders for classical guitars. This guitar is in excellent condition with only a bit of light playing wear.
