The clarity and balance you’d expect from a Friederich but with a very moody character and a killer price! This is a dark, rich, and very romantic sounding guitar. Built with very dark cedar, whose color hints at the sound it will produce, and a light milk-chocolate set of Indian rosewood. The top seems to have sustained some heavy damage to the top, below the bridge. There is a series of small cracks that look as if the top might have been pushed in at some point. A violin maker in Paris repaired the guitar and did add three small graduated braces under the top as well as expertly glued the cracks shut. Friederich has seen the repairs and verified them and there is a letter included with the guitar from him stating this.

The guitar is stable, sounding amazing, fantastically priced, and a Friederich to boot!
