About our guests:

Goin' South is a smokin' band of Southern California roots musicians who've collectively played every honky-tonk, dusty theater and festival stage from Disney Hall to Lafayette.

GSB founder and director JOHN ZERETZKE has composed tribal-symphonic world music scores for theater, dance, orchestra and film; and has recorded with many well-known artists, including Kenny Loggins.

VIC KOLER was music director for the Aman Folk Ensemble and has recorded or performed with artists as diverse as Neil Diamond, Gloria Estefan, Buzzy Linhart and Eartha Kitt.

RICK SHEA has worked with everyone from roots rock kingpin Dave Alvin to folk chanteuse Katy Moffatt to indie rock legends R.E.M.

PAUL LACQUES plays with the renowned LA based country band, I See Hawks In L.A. and Double Naught Spy Car.

FRED SOKOLOW is a blazin' blues, bluegrass and swing instrumentalist and soloist with over 100 instructional books/DVDs to his name.  He has also toured with Tom Paxton, Ian Whitcomb, Bobbie Gentry, Jim Stafford, Jody Stecher and the Limeliters.
