I am a huge proponent of acoustic instruments, acoustic music and especially solo guitar. I love the simplicity, the directness of the tone and the close connection to the performer. But sometimes gear and electronics are just way too cool!

Especially when you have an incredible musician borrowing ideas from the past, mixing them with cutting edge technologies and creating a new way to write, hear, perform, comprehend....ah just watch Metheny do his thing with his "Orchestrion!"
