Ariel is a luthier from Uruguay who was highly recommended to us by Bill Kanengiser of the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet. We were able to check out one of his instruments with a maple back and immediately ordered one in Indian Rosewood for Trilogy.

This is our 2nd instrument from Ariel with a little different style to the '07. This instrument features a shortened headstock and a bolder sound. The tone and sustain are still hallmarks of Ameijenda's work but this guitar is suited for little a more power and volume.

Ariel is a 2nd generation builder who learned the craft under his father, Manuel Ameijenda, who helped instill a passion for not only classical guitar, but for renaissance and baroque instruments as well. Ariel then expanded his knowledge through Musicology studies at the University level with his attention focused on acoustics and history as well spending time in India learning Sitar and the construction of Indian classical instruments.
